Getting ready for 2016 Chinese New Year Celebration

Chinese New Year is just 6 days away and I have been waiting for my special parcel to arrived since 2 weeks ago.

I have ordered a special Chinese New Year gift for Miyu and Aki and finally my parcel came today.

Here you are, a special CNY design neckerchief design and made by Paws & Paws.

My girls looking lovely with their new neckerchief. I must say their quality is superb and come with thick fabrics. Lovely design just nice for CNY mood.

Howling Cafe @ USJ

Looking for a pet friendly cafe nearby my home for dinner and done some Google search. I found out about Howling cafe through Google which is located in USJ.

We reached the cafe around 6.30pm and are welcome by their house dogs a golden retriever, sarpei and miniature schnauzer.

The cafe decor is simple & nice. I love how they created a small space in between two seat for your pet.

I initially thought it would be crowded, however we are the only patron at that time. Good enough for Miyu to roam around freely.

They even served pet meal and on that day they have buy one free one promotion for their cupcakes. Ordered sweet potato and pumpkin cupcakes for my girls and they really loves it.

As for hubby and myself, we had spaghetti but was given free desserts consist of pudding and fried banana wrap.

Petto Cafe @ uptown Damansara

This is my first blog in 2016, it's been a while since my last blog in 2014. Lots of sad moment happen for the pass 1 year plus and was not able to bring my girls out as offen as I used to.

Since a new year have begun, it is time to catch up with some new pet friendly cafe in Klang Valley. We have more pet friendly cafes mushrooming in Klang Valley and Petto Cafe was one of it. Opened in November 2015 and we have decided to drop by for lunch today. I actually brought their discount voucher from Groupon which comes with western set meal for two and a pet meal valued at RM 34.

Located in Uptown Damansara so parking will be an issues if you do visit on weekdays. However, weekend will be much better to locate for a parking space. We enjoyed our lunch and time there chatting with Petto Cafe's friendly owner. Thanks for some recommendation of places for me to visit with Miyu and Aki next time. 😉

CAFFEine @ Setia Walk Puchong

Just discovered a new place in Puchong whereby you could enjoy your daily coffee or tea with your fur kids.

It's been quite a while since the last time I brought Miyu and Aki out. Since it is a Saturday night and I've been craving for coffee. I've decided to drop by CAFFEine for a drink and a late dinner with my girls.

This will be my second visit and I'm excited to try one of their signature coffee which is not listed in their menu. CAFFEine offer 3 types of signature coffee which named Golden Mocha ( yet to try), Jrocks! (Love this, is basically Caramel Macchiato topped with Vanilla Ice Cream), & Electro Choc (today's pick).

My comment... Good! But my favorite is still Jrocks! Since I'm a ice cream lover. 😘

Tong Pak Fu Dessert Cafe

It hasn't rain for almost 3 days and it was a very hot day even at night. After our home spring cleaning and cooking session, my husband suggested we should go out for some desserts.

What cross my mind was to have something cold and to be able to enjoy it with my girls. I remembered one great place to go which was Tong Pak Fu at IOI Bulovard branch.

They never mentioned they are pet friendly cafe, however I have asked their staff before during my last visit if their cafe allows pets. I was told it is ok if your pet is well behaved and you are only allows to sit at outdoor dinning area. Which is quite normal to me as most pet friendly area implement the same rules.

So here we are enjoying our dessert with my girls.

Holiday at Ruby's Resort [Day 2]

Day 2 in Ruby's Resort was fantastic. With the nice weather through out the day, I managed to play with the girls 3 times at the beach.

Woke up at 7am as I'm very excited to bring Miyu and Aki out to see the beach for the first time. So I brought the girls out for a morning run/ play before our breakfast start. The sea is a little rough in the morning so we didn't went for a swim instead just running and walking by the beach.

Miyu was so happy to see so much water in the sea. She just loves water ... :) Aki in the other hand was scared of the waves. So she just sit tight and watch Miyu play.

After the morning walk it is time to bath the girls before we head to Ruby's kitchen for breakfast.

Simple breakfast was prepared. We had toast with scramble egg. Drinks wise it is just either coffee or tea.

After breakfast we head to the beach again for the second time. This time you will notice more people walking and playing with their dogs.

Miyu and Aki playing with water even more the second time and got them self all wet. Man and Bruno (Golden Retriever) is also out for a swim.

By the time is over we head back to our room to shower them again. It is time for lunch when we are all done.

We drove out to Kemanan Town to hunt for food during lunch time. But because it is Hari Raya season, most of the shops are close. We ended up with A&W and keropok lekor for lunch.

After lunch is basically afternoon nap time for my girls.

When evening arrived, we brought the girls out to the beach to play again. This time the sea is more calmer and Miyu got the chance to swim and play with me.

When it is about dinner time, we decided to have our dinner at Ruby's place instead of venturing out. As the road coming in and out of Ruby's Resort is without street lights and it is very dark and scary for me.. Haha

Our simple dinner was delicious, I have black pepper ginger beef. While my hubby had fried rice with beef. Miyu and Aki also join us during dinner time. :)

After dinner it is just mingle and playing with other pets. Ruby also decorated her resort with Hari Raya Decoration.

That is the end of day 2 and we are heading back home tomorrow. It is very relaxing and enjoyable stay for us to get out from the busy city life for awhile. We will surely visit this lovely place again.

Holiday at Ruby's Resort [Day 1]

I heard about Ruby's Resort when I started google about pet friendly holiday in Malaysia. I was surprise to be able to find lots of comment from others blogger about Ruby's Resort and how fun it was to enjoy the beach with your furkids.

With that, I started planing for my beach retreat holiday and made a booking to Ruby's Resort. Due to my travel dates falls on the Hari Raya festival, Ruby mentioned we only have limited rooms as an option. Therefore I booked 2 nights stay at Jati Room immediately for the cost of RM300/ night for 2 including breakfast. The room suppose to be RM250/ night, however if the date falls on festive season extra 20% surcharge.

Jati room comes with a big balcony for you to hang around. Equip in a small hall a fridge and oven toaster. Rooms wise is good enough for 2 of us plus my 2 furkids. I'm very happy with the overall room and most important clean. Oh! Since Miyu and Aki joining us in this holiday retreat Ruby mentioned we have to bring our own blanket, queen size bed sheet, towels for human and pets. We have no problem with the terms and conditions, as I understood Ruby's frustration when dealing with previous irresponsible pets owner.

Each room will have their dedicated gate and car park so it is nearer to load and unload your luggage.

Pets are not allowed in Ruby's office and home only. Others area are pet friendly.

Each room will have a small area to wash up your pets after your beach activities. It is a must to wash up your pets outdoor before entering your room.

This is Ruby's Resort if you view it from the beach. Like a simple home by the beach.

On our arrival Ruby's gave us a warm welcome and offered us to join them for steamboat dinner together with other guests. Since it was our first day, we insisted to venture out for dinner. Ruby then recommended Restauran Duyung as it is the only pet friendly restaurant in Cherating. She even helped me to call Restaurant Duyung to check if its open. Since it is 1st day of Raya.

We never expect the crowd in this restaurant to be massive. Probably because it was Raya season. Waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our food to arrived. Ordered Tom yum prawn soup, sweet and sour crab, teo chew steam fish and salted fish kailan. With of course 2 coconut drink which we drank finished before the food came. Ordered addition pot of Chinese tea later on. All together the bill came about RM8+.oo. Can't remembered the actual amount. Food taste wise is just average, nothing to boast about.

This is the end of our day 1 journey. We did not do much as we arrived quite late around 2.30pm. We basically slept in the afternoon till it is time to go out for dinner. Partially due to rain as well, so no beach for us on day 1.
